Today Carpe Diem prompt is sadness, and as usual I needed to find a picture to combine it with. The dance performance I photographed gave me a picture, and I can focus on how sadness confines us.

Lovely, I like the way the photo from your love entry connects to these on sadness bringing words and images together.
Thank you. This was in my mind already yesterday 🙂
Awesome Bjorn … yoiu’ve made a connection with the haiku series on love which you shared with us. Really I love the way you’ve done this and shared it here.
It was a fun way to do those – love and sadness are akin 🙂
…untie the listless soul ~ great line ~ wonderful haiku on ‘sadness’ ~ ( A Creative Harbor) on Blogger ^_^
Thank you 😉
It reads like a song. Very rhythmic.
Thank you
I like the way you create a chain of thought
will have to try that…
nicely done
I think it make sense to do that in haiku chains.
Cascading set does well with circulating thoughts that accompany poignant and bittersweet emotions!!!
A lot of bad emotions run in circles. Sadness is one, anger another. To break free, those circles are what ties us.
Congratulations on your award…well deserved.
Sadness for me is well captured in your cascading haiku.
