In Sweden mist has been associated with dancing wood fairies. They might seduce men and bring them into the woods forever. Picture is from wikimedia commons.

Today Carpe Diem prompt is mist suggested by Dulcina. The picture is taken in Norway, and after waiting many hours in fog and mist, we finally caught a glimpse of a magnificent view.

  2. Awesome set of haiku ( in that nice cascading way) on misty days on which sometimes through a gust of wind you can see the most wonderful landscapes.
I like the haiku about the wood faeries too. It’s so familiar with what we call ‘white bitches’ in The Netherlands. Thank you for sharing these wonderfull and imaginative haiku for Carpe Diem.

  3. Excellent haiku again, I love the images you have created specially the mist duvet and the echoes of the sun… so lovely…
Beautiful pic with the dancing wood fairies, it looks as if they were moving, I can feel them dancing. The haiku is as seductive as the fairies, poor men trying to resist!
    :)))

  4. I like the overlapping lines of this and your next one as well. It is not a haiku technique I am familiar with, but I love the effect. Thank you for visiting and commenting at my blog.
