Home and its warmth, always the best place to be. Nice – ♥
As my father used to say,,, it’s good that houses are hollow
aloha Bjorn – that’s a tough home to winter in. mountains often evoke that winter sense. a strong image to go with the ku. cool. stay warm. aloha.
To be inside is the best
Awesome Bjorn … what a wonderfully composed haiku on the take ‘home’ great imagery. Outside the cold and inside the warmth of an open fire. Great image on home. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you very much for your comment 🙂
I dread the snowstorm rage…winter here can be quite brutal ~ Keep warm in the mountain home ~
I hope for a cold winter… 🙂
So cozy. Nice imagery
From a winter mountain trip.
The juxtaposition of heat and cold is quite vivid and the feeling that of quiet coziness. Great. – Jolly
Thank you. a window is a nice juxtaposition
If i lived in a cold climate I would hibernate for the entire winter months like your poem:)
But as soon as you have a cold sun and lot’s of snow I yearn to get out.
I suddenly must go on a mountain trip. I’m glad you didn’t end up going through Moria.
Moria sounds warm and cosy 🙂
Snug against the storm!

Thank you, it shure is 🙂
mountain home is for a treat indeed.
I visit the mountains every winter, Not my own home, but the cabins feel more homely than any other home.
Delightful! I love the winter and you captured my feelings wonderfully. How did you hide beside my hearth, Sir? I’m sure I didn’t see you there and yet you described it all so vividly…
Coming to a mountain hut without electricity, where you have to chop your wood and light a fire, and finally having a warm home is what is really behind all this 🙂 But your might have been in the same cabin if you ever been in the Swedish mountains in winter.
I’m really enjoying reading through your blog and seeing your photos! I love the photo here of the window, it fits so well with the Haiku too.
Thank you, looking through my pictures to combine with a prompt is really inspiring
I like finding a picture to combine with a quote or post. I’ve just started using prompts again, and pictures are a good inspiration too.
