Endlessly
Dusk entangled with dawn
Embracing our sleepless summer night
Remember
The honeysuckled kiss
Your hair adorned in midsummer bloom
Glistening
Dew-drop captures sunrise
Barefoot we tiptoe cross the meadow
Proceding
Newly washed linen sheet
Like water, your hair through my fingers

Today Laura hosts dVerse MTB with a form called Parallelogram de Crystalline. I am nor sure I adhered to all the rules, but Midsummer and love is something quite significant. There are many children born arond the 20th of March, so there is some truth there.

the watery connections are lovely so too the way you brought round the entangled from the opener to the feel of hair through fingers
Thank you… the connection to midsummer has some very special memories for me.
very beautiful poem.
Your Midsummer water is gorgeous, Björn! I especially love the phrase ‘dusk entangled with dawn’ and the ‘honeysuckled kiss’.
It feels strange when it never gets really dark…
love this
interesting to hear about the increase in briths around March – love is in th summer air
— and in your prose, I could feel this healthy, sensual connection with well-conditioned hair (not all conditioners are created equal)
I really loved that second stanza. Nicely done Bjorn.
I really enjoyed the second line in relation to a sleepless summer night.
A heated midsummer, water which is needed to cool down. ha….romance is in the air.
So romantic and sensual at the same time, Bjorn.
I’m not sure if anyone who has not been to the north really knows of the power of the midnight sun…beautiful, romantic time, and here, beautiful, romantic lines which I think exemplify the mood and feeling at that time of the year. V nicely done.
I really liked yours as well, and the them of a nordic wood is indeed similar
You share the magic of memories of love at a special time of year Björn Midsummer is special everywhere but especially in the North in counterpoint to the long Winter – not surprising that love blooms so, then…
The art, the words …. Incredibly lovely Bjorn. You have a way with sensuality, I am certain of that.
I love this line:
Embracing our sleepless summer night
You are one remarkable poet, Björn!
“Like water, your hair through my fingers”
Breathtaking, Bjorn!
