1. I enjoyed your passionate beast of burden, Björn, and I love the choice of image to illustrate it, the alliterative opening line, and the ‘pledge to softly sigh…without a single uttered syllable’.

17. Aww, this is love, indeed. It’s funny but I’d never really thought about the meaning of “beast of burden” with the Rolling Stones song. I like your poem much better! Those terse lines add to the ambience.
