Beloved, come cuddle
me darling, come closer
while dropping your norms
I promise, you’ll own me.
Come tickle me warm,
come lick me and kiss me
from gloomy to glowing,
I promise, I’ll serve you.
Come bring me your fire
cause, you’re my desire
The last quadrille of the year at dVerse. the word is glow and Lilian hosts. Just 44 words in one poem.

Whew, the fire and desire! This calls for lots of cuddling Bjorn, smiles.
Oh my, Bjorn! You’ll have every female dVerse reader dropping her norms and wiping her brow reading this one! Whew indeed!
I read the poem with a quicker beating heart, Björn, it’s glowing with passion. And then I saw the image – it’s one an ex-boyfriend from years ago gave me. I think he got it from one of the galleries in London, and I kept it for years. I don’t know where it is now. It’s brought back some memories!
Wow.. what a coincidence (but it’s a wonderful gift for someone to give)
Do you know the expression ‘slap and tickle’? That’s what your poem brings to mind for me. Light-hearted.
I didn’t know the expression.. but it fits.
Tickle is a funny old word.
Your romantic side emerges front and center; brought smiles and heat to all. I liked the line /kiss me from gloomy to glowing/.
“Dropping your norms!” 🙂 Fun and romantic. Perfect song to go along with it, too!
Oh oh oh how deliciously inviting. Luv the image you teamed up
Thanks for dropping by to read mine

“You know that it would be untrue, you know that I would be a liar, if I were to say to you” I didn’t adore this poem. Nice and cozy dream.
Brilliant!! 🖤
I promise to serve you – oh the temptation of the night burns in the eyes of love.
the fire of desire with tongue in cheek … nice one!
Nice transition with alliteration: “from gloomy to glowing”
sweet and subtly sensual, Bjorn!
From gloomy to glowing…now that’s a good way to meet the new year! (K)
It’s great to hear the Doors again and I love the alliteration throughout, especially ‘from glooming to glowing’ 🙂
I love your sensual use of words Bjorn.
I felt like dancing to the rhythms of this one. (Not with you; I’ll find someone else)
Such a sweet poem. Put a big smile on my face. Also always loved The Doors. 😀
Now that’s a poem with glow! 😉
Oh what a wonderful romantic take on the prompt. Well done, love the song too. 😉
How romantically sensual.
