You painted all your dreams in pink and neon
and drifted far from woods to New Year’s hailing
we took you home to rest, but you went sailing
we tried our best to treat your itch and your ailing
that turned you eyes to silver, crazy wailing;
we opened up our hearts to all your failings.
but your gilded dreams just sent you scaling,
walls and towers and we couldn’t stop you falling.
You painted all your dreams before it all went black
Inspired by the song and video at toads.. for Marian.

Brilliantly dark
Poor soul. I have fallen a few times, I didn’t realize it but my sore knee was bucking. After my knee joint replacement in 2011 I haven’t fallen once. The most embarrassing aspect of falling is the group of people rushing in to pick you up. You just want to lay there. Falling people agree .

nice tribute to those who struggle dearly …
I love the last line especially!
Simply amazing 😍🥰👍
Pink and neon, if only (life) and dreaming in luscious shades were simple.

There was often security at hand but circumstances were such that one could court disaster unwittingly. It was a tragedy in most instances

wow – this is good – one of your very best, for me.
A most melancholy song.
Oh my gosh! I like this SO much!!! This is crazy good.
Soooo hard to treat that itch and ailing. I love this, Bjorn.
“You painted all your dreams before it all went black. Wonderful, Bjorn.
Those silver eyes becoming grey in death.
“we opened up our hearts to all your failings.”… what more could you do. How lucky to be loved like that! But it doesn’t always work …
“You painted all your dreams before it all went black.” Stunning line, Bjorn.
