You tornado
in tresses of hair as
you turn me
to madly be falling,
be feral,
be wild,
in an urge to get naked
and kindle the fire;
We burn as we smolder,
we phoenix from ashes
to malleable flesh;
into waves and to water
to us until morning,
when only the scent
from our parting remains.
Today it’s OLN, and I host at dVerse, come join us at 3PM EST with any one of your poems.

Oh, great lines…’we Phoenix from ashes’….
Quite a tornado there, Bjorn!
Breath-takingly penned Bjorn. So sensual.
I think this fits, “lovely!”
Oh Bjorn….you do know how to write these delectably sensual poems! Wow…..considering it’s 90+ degrees hot in Washington DC where we are for the month, I’d say your poem and the weather has me sizzling!
Whoa! What a wonderfully sensual poem!
Whoaaa this is incredibly sensuous Bjorn!
Oh my goodness! How passionate, Bjorn, is your ‘urge to get naked / and kindle the fire’. I love the lines:
‘we phoenix from ashes
to mallable flesh;
into waves and to water
to us until morning,
when only the scent
from our parting remains’.
You get a great rhythm going in this poem. Adds to the heat 🙂
be feral, be wild, sounds wonderful…feisty is the best I can currently muster…
The passion is so hot you turn phoenix into a verb!
the scent of love remains – some hot lines here Bjorn
We burn as we smolder,
we phoenix from ashes
scent from our parting remains… great lines Bjorn!
This is hot!
Lovely piece!
Sensual–arousing and also evoking the senses–sight, touch, smell.
You a wild man, Bjorn
Like the phoenix rising into malleable flesh!

Detected some great verbing here, Bjorn!

Great work as always. I love the rhythm to this.
Is mallable American spelling for malleable or is it a typo?
It’s a typo 🙂
