Lovely poem, Björn. “Daffodilly splendor” made me smile. And the rhyming was well done in this piece.
I adore the spring imagery you conjure in this poem.
Dance barefoot made me think of the women in Botticelli’s “Primavera” painting.
Such delight! Daffodilly may be my new favorite word.
This made me smile!

You capture the mad spirit of spring.
The daffodil photo from Lill’s prompt has come in useful again! I love the phrase ‘bloom me tender’ – like a springtime Elvis dancing ‘barefoot till September’!
“dafodilly splendour” – I love the phrase!
A lighthearted romp through the daffodils. Now that’s a great tanaga, and Tuesday’s flowers are still fresh

Is the photo yours as well, Bjorn?
“daffodilly splendor” This is what Spring is … at least where daffodils flourish. The sentiment works where I am. Thanks, Björn!
Love the rhythm of this!

That is how long one can give due appreciation to the wonders of nature and the environment still thinking well of spring. Yes, why not!

How wonderful, but spring seems to be hiding in winter’s skirts still here. No barefoot, still in woolly socks and wellington boots.
Lovely alliteration.Especially like daffodills as adjectives. 😊
Tanaga on, Bjorn! Love this one 🙂
Elegantly rendered, Bjorn!
I like the image daffodilly splendor brings tp mind and how it intricately rhymes with “till September”.
