Let’s storm

Come baby please
Come snake yourself around me.
Come dance
Let’s break their norms.
Let people stare cause we don’t care

You are fire I’m your ice
Let’s rage
Let’s not be nice
Let’s howl at clouds
Cause we are this:
Their perfect storm.

Flower me

  1. So much love for this poem. It’s perfect. The opening reminds me of a song (of course).

I especially like the lines that set up the ice/nice rhyme.

  2. Delicious descriptions – the sensuality of the first stanza and energy of the second.

  3. I’ve just got home from choir, where we tend to dance while we sing!Today we sang ‘Livin’ On a Prayer’, ‘Hold my Hand’ and ‘Valerie’ –
all; good to bop along to. thoroughly enjoyed this poem!

  4. Romantic, stormy & sensual indeed. “Let’s not be nice” indeed, like a scene from a French jazz bistro.
