Twist a tangerine

spill a journey
bring us
lull of shimmer-
grins; come
bubble-breeze us open
shimmer
silver-
lines on clouds.
come un-shadow us
un-jar its scent in rose

then
let’s skip in leaves, dance
let’s twist
a tangerine
as autumn melt
un-greened by fireplace
let’s fall in love

  1. “a tangerine
    as autumn melt”

    LOVE.

Perfect use of all the words. And yes, thank goodness for hyphens! 😉 I wonder how many weeks/Q44 words before we throw in the towel?

  2. So glad you came back with another Björn quadrille, with its playful language and wicked words! I love ‘shimmer-grins’ and ‘bubble-breeze’, and the use of ‘un-shadow’, ‘un-jar’ and ‘un-green’ – yes, that’s what autumn does! Best of all – ‘twist a tangerine’!
