After the magician’s assistant eloped
with his rabbit, he started to drink.
He couldn’t decide what was worst:
their deceit or the fact that
he didn’t know piss about the illusions.
the tricks and the treats.
He once was the “Magnificent Lucio”
but now he was left to their bills,
his bourbon and a top-hat to big for his head.
It had always been the brains of the rodent
and the legs of his delicious assistant.
The rabbit and her assistant created a start-up,
selling spandex tuxedos for women.
I have no idea where this story came from for Magpie Tales

HILARIOUS!!! I love this one, B.
🙂
I have always found rabbits to be most untrustworthy 🙂
I think Alice found that one out…
This is hilarious. The magician bereft of any magic to whisk back his not-so servile upstarts.
He he… poor guy..
This was wonderfuly ecclectic and a tad bit bizzare to read, but it is a metaphorical wonderland non the less.
😉 Sometimes you have to release the bizarre.
I don’t know where this one came from either, but I hope you pull some more from that place! it had me grinning hugely at that perfidious assistant and funny bunny.
Interesting take. I didn’t see the magic act angle, but I do now. 🙂
Ha! Most imaginative! And we both landed on the illusion aspect!
I think the stories where we don’t know where they come from are the best. I chuckled ~ thank you 😊
Ha! It was your last two lines that pushed the whole thing over the line for me…really funny!
Absolutely brilliant, especially the end bit!
Visit Keith’s Ramblings!
Awesomely funny!
Wow, that was one smart rabbit. Well done, Bjorn. 😀
Awesome write but I won’t be wearing them this year!
love this…the best things arrive while we have no knowledge of them..i believe 😉
Ha! Creative and wonderful…
awesome imagination..!
Very cool. Though, I daresay, something is yet to come from … that top-hat too big for his head. Ha!
