One Hundred Thirty Three
These beans, to be, I’m Jack
and talk for stalks
Fee-fi-fo-fum
One Hundred Thirty Four
and smell the blood of british man
for goose that lay a golden egg
Fee-fi-fo-fum
One Hundred Thirty Five
and grind his bones to make the bread
One Hundred Thirty… Thirty …
darn… One, Two, Three
A little ditty for fun at Toads

I’d rather have a bean encounter
Than be a bean counter
This is a fun piece. 🙂
😀😀
I have bean there! Loved this!
Ha. Better get working. You make me have sympathy with the poor bean counters but maybe tjey shouldn’t grind people’s fkngers to the bone. I am sorry I wasn’t able to do your rbrandt prompt, Bjorn. It was fun. K.
A super little allegorical piece. Pulling off a light piece with such breezy aplomb – and to such entertaining effect – requires a deft touch. This is a treat!
LOL… clever, clever!! And that picture is so perfect for the poem!
Uh oh, better start over.
This cracked me up!
I’m starting to feel that way about my work place… Enough said.
Hahaha I would hate to have to start that count over again. You may remember several years back they had a recount in Florida and all the hanging chads. Jacks tale has been retold quite a few times.
Fun this, enjoyed!
