So sad.. My heart goes out to all of those that have lost loved ones this time of year.. I can’t help but to think of my own Mother.. Beautiful haiku here.. Sorrowful too..

It’s hard for some who are alone on holidays. Well written. — Suzanne
Christmas can be a very sad time for many.
Familienlosigkeit. Poignant write. And to the point too these days.
That loneliness is part of Christmas too. When I worked with elderly, we tried to keep them going (and busy) so they wouldn’t think of about missing family.
Holiday rituals and music deeply accentuate (and perhaps even exaggerate) our very human relationships – warts and all.
