once we where strong
love could handle the daggers
of heart-breaking songs
before his lyrics of death
had frozen your kisses
take the last waltz
and then my darling let’s cry
while binding our wreaths
then put your cold hand in mine
and pretend you can feel it’s warm

Ouch, Björn …. just …. ouch. I had to do more than just click “like” … but … I’m speechless. One of your best.
Your haiku is based on the relationship ( I think ) between Rodin and Camille Claudel. That narcissist was not known for his warmth. Excellent haiku.
The sculpture is really magnificent. Note the submissive and vulnerable
position. Camille modelled for the Danaid.
Leads up to a stunning finish with double-edged meaning. Fine, fine poetry.
Powerful. The type that reaches deeply and stays on the back of my spine…
Bjorn, This is one of your darker pieces. I might be mistaken, but I’m seeing death here. Well written. —Susan
Ouf!! this is a very poignant piece, Björn!! Love the sculpture that adds depth to your poem.
Dugs in deep into the emotions. Great lines Bjorn!

Awesome response Björn and the strong sense of love is real … I can almost feel it …
Heartbreaking Bjorn … so powerfully strong, a great poem … but so heart rendering sad.
