Oh, Bjorn, this is wonderful. I too was thinking of Robin today. We visited an art gallery and they had a beautiful chalice that reminded me of the Holy Grail – and of his role as Perry the homeless man in Fisher King – whose mission was to regain the Holy Grail. Robin really did wear his many faces and voices as masks – but if you looked into his eyes sometimes you could see the sadness.

This is beautiful and made me weep…Robin Williams has touched many especially those who still suffer and search…questioning…Why?

I think this has superb reach globally, in what can hide behind the painted smile.
ah — how often does a smile mask a weeping heart. Very beautiful haiku.
I linked his death with Smokey Robinson’s song “Tears of a Clown”. You never know what someone is feeling.
Just how he touched our life and he was all the while lonely! Nicely Bjorn!
