buzz from tipsy wasps
An effort to write a haiku in a classical haiku, it should contain all the classical element. I wanted to capture it with early autumn kigo. And in the spirit (!sic) of Basho’s frog haiku include sound, location and that instantaneous feeling of present. I know it can be read a little bit disrespectful but it’s not my intention.

Not sure what they’re like where you live, but here in the US the wasps can get a bit aggressive when fall arrives. Watch out for those tipsy wasps!

We have a few different wasps here. A new one popped up last year – a Cicada Killer.

Disrespectful intent??? Unless one thought of W.A.S.P. as a derogatory term. I would not have looked for such if you hadn’t mentioned anything. I would have only thought of the insect.
