Bjorn! This is so powerful, especially, and really especially that you gave it in that ‘storytelling tone’ – I thought a recent haiku was brilliant, of yours, but this one sets a new style, with haiku as ‘narrator’ with all the background there in 3 lines.,
I think it fits the prompt of the month — to have the vision of the cathedral…
Great..it seems really like a story..so many things said in those three lines… 🙂
Great haiku Björn… I hope once to give my haiku love to my children and grandchildren. in every scene of nature hides a haiku … thank you …
it is a true calling when one can see the potential within an ordinary object and unearth its greatness, whether it be the stone-cutter with his chisel, the wood-whittler with knife, or the word-smith with his words.
Granite may well be the base of many buildings. Nicely Bjorn!

Wonderful Bjorn. I also thank you for participating. 🙂
Monumental. 🙂
Lovely, poem and cathedral.

A visionary! In these few words: there is something very sage (as in looking outside of the box), or perhaps, imaginative – or perhaps, indomitable – or perhaps . . . I’ll have to ruminate on it a bit more. But, in the meantime: an awesome poem.
Beautiful. Takes my mind to that amazing cathedral in Spain.
