like patchwork quilt
moonshine wanders slowly
across the field
across the field
soundlessly a lonely fawn
strikes its path
how solemn
each patch of grass
illumined by the moon

So much takes place soundlessly by moonlight! Nice.
Bjorn such an evocative piece! Nicely done!
Beautiful and evocative!
A lovely moment in nature caught and held. Picture that matches.
I am speechless Björn… great set, love to use that first one for one of our Tan Renga Challenges …
I would love to see it used..
Thanks for granting permission Björn
Exquisite – I am there!
The fawn, the moon, your haiku—all breathtaking!
Nakagawa Special
This reminds me of the pair of fawn I saw crossing a wooded bend in my neighborhood. I’ll wait until Chevrefeuille post to add anything 😉
Blades of grass can cut. Perhaps they protect the grubs and ground hornets amid their roots?
oh how tender the fawn haiku is. and the patchwork one is lovely too
