the way compassion
carry weights of other’s pain –
spring breeze blows gently
a baby’s cry
greet harshness of our world
mother try to soothe

Spring Breeze by William-Adolphe Bouguereau

Lovely, Bjorn. It seems everyone is really looking forward to Spring by now.
Compassion – the greatest virtue, I think – without which, there is only evil. Likening it to a spring breeze or soothing a cry – lovely.
Compassion is a beautiful thing and they say a problem shared is a problem halved.
Beautiful indeed, your verses could even be the beginning of a lovely novel. Thank you for sharing, Bjørn! Awfully kind! Keep writing!

I luv your haiku today for its Scriptural quality and great empathy with Carp diem’s episode
Have a nice weekend
Much love…
smiles….love the comparison of compassion to the wind…and then the concrete example in the second…
Your own compassion comes through your haiku.
