Ah….if only I could have written one like that! I was looking, thinking, trying to find the right haiku…and there it is, written by you!
Ah.. you flatter me…
its true though. linked you at page bottom.
Weightless Thoughts … what a great line Bjorn and that painting by Escher (my fellow dutchman) is really gorgeous.
Haiku is extraordinary difficult, more so, much more so, than tanka…but you have succeeded here in my opinion. Gorgeous stuff, Bjorn….and obviously you have studied the classical forms….that is a BIG issue for me, because people think that they can throw out all of this stuff…
Thank you.. I tried to capture at least a little with kigo an cutting word. But still more important for me is that moment of a thought that tries to elope… I write every day on Carpe Diem… 🙂
I will look into this site….have heard of it before.
And yes, the kigo word would be butterfly….summer season word. I like that….moment of a thought that tries to elope!
Jane
But learning the kigo, etc…strengthens your poetry….and you have gone into the center of the issue.
Bravo!~
Lady Nyo.
A delightful illustration – I have much to learn about haiku – each butterfly a teacher, as you are.
Thank you for your visit to my CD post today.
Beautiful!
looks like you have a butterfly thing going on… weightless thoughts these frigid days seem nice… I do agree sunshine is better than gloom
