With purple fur and orange feet
he’s hiding in your bowl of soup.
And if you try the food to eat
you’ll find it has a taste of poop
so please: eat sweets instead
Trifextra is asking us for 33 words on beasts in unusual places. Don’t let your kids read this terrible story.

but I love Broccoli 😉
this was FUN and of course I loved the “eat more sweets” for what is Halloween for? 😉
Ha.. yes but I’m sure that there are a lot of people that believe in the Broccoli beast
Oh my goodness! That really made me laugh! Good job!
It’s Friday .. we are allowed to laugh.
He-he.
I love broccoli too (but will look out for him).
Anna :o]
If your something purple among the broccoli it’s probably him….
As much broccoli as I’ve consumed, I probably have millions of these living in me!
Oh — is it the purple fur?
I’ve not seen the fur yet thank god!
And any poem that uses the word poop is a winner in my book. Yes, I laugh at farts too.
You are a very bad boy, Bjorn. Eat your vegetables and be sweet. lol, I know there are many children and adults who will agree.
Is this sponsored by the local dentist? 🙂
(This reminds me- my older son had a substitute teacher who is also a local dentist… he’d give out lollipops as good behavior prizes. I joked that he probably had his name and number printed on the sticks!)
I love broccoli, sprouts, cabbage, leeks, peas etc. Don’t get this thing kids have against green veg. Weird!
*hahaha* Have you been talking to my kids? 😉
This is SO cute and funny. Thanks for the smile. 🙂
A self preservation campaign for vegetables! I’ll do my bit and eat more chocolate:) Cute 33, Bjorn!
yuk!
Advice worthy of the great Dahl himself.
I love all veggies! But this did make me chuckle.
there used to be a group called the digging dykes of decatur. It was a garden club. They got tired of the conflicts between vegans, vegetarians, carnivores, and omnivores. The new rule was that only sweets would be served at meetings.
We have a deseert place in my hometown of Cobourg and their motto is, “Eat More Cake.” I like your advice, too. Well done. Thanks for the chuckle.
LOL love this! I totally agree with sentiment. Reowr! 🙂
Very amusing.
Ugh!! One of my favorite veggies and I don’t like too many of them.
This was just too funny to see from you. Broccoli is a good beastie veggie.
I love broccoli – my favourite veg after Brussels sprouts and parsnips.
Oh how weird! I had a monster hiding in the soup in mine too. Great minds think alike, right?
Ha! This had me laughing!
Really clever and funny, Bjorn. Way to go!
Agree completely with Momo, clever and funny! Isn’t it nice when you can find a rhyme for poop?! :))
Nice take on the prompt, veggie beasts! Don’t tell the kiddies! Thanks for linking up!
I’m scared of the Broccoli Beast, too, and the Cooked Cabbage Beast and the Brussels Sprout Beast…Fun poem!
Great take on the prompt. I’m definitely sticking with more sweets!
Lol!Good one Bjorn;-)
Whaaaa? Hate broccoli much? A perfect rhyme for Halloween, though. 🙂
