I hate to think of thousands of slaves hauling those rocks. Some archaeologists believe the stones were too heavy for any humans/machinery in those days to lift. I prefer to believe that version of “others” being here.
I’m guessing that the slave story is the correct one, sad to say.
too true. So many “greats’ stood on the backs of the masses
Thousands of people worked on this World Wonder and died there. How could this happen … a World Wonder with a image of slavery … still a World Wonder … somewhere there has to be something which made this a World Wonder … sacred geometry? Sacred Knowledge? Spirits? Extra Terrestrials? Why became the Pyramid of Giza a World Wonder with it’s bad history of slavery?
Thank you for bringing the laborers into your haiku. Many died for these monuments.
Hello again,
I’ve missed your haiku. I like the imagery here and those powerful Pharaohs in tow. Terrific!
