The second is so deep and in progress, IMO.
I have to say, Escher’s piece caught my eye immediately. I am not sure how familiar you are with his work or it was a prompt…but love that piece. Haiku fits it perfectly and love the second one. 🙂
I had not seen that one so much earlier… but it caught my attention.. and it fitted the prompt.
Most people tend to be drown to his ascending, descending styles but I really do enjoy this one. I love black and white work….I studied him as well as Aubrey Beardsley. I know, going on and on about it. Sorry…I do love the haiku especially the second. That is why I wasn’t sure if you wrote it for the art or picked art after. Wonderful job 🙂
Interesting . . . .pondering thoughts.
oh my the crazy order we fail at
and you used Escher too perfect
perfect, both the haiku and the image.
your words make me very thoughtful on a Monday morning.
Both of them work so well together, I believed them to be one poem.
