A whiff of 1966 – Trifextra time travel

A whiff of perfume suddenly,
could bring me back in time
For real or maybe drunkenly?
I feel her hand in mine

My grandmother, she walks beside
I’m five, and confident I stride

33 words on time travel for Trifextra… hmm not very good in SF so it has to be poetry again. Tried to write the first stanza in ballad meter.

  1. I understand the smell association, Bjorn. There is a particular skin lotion that, when I smell it, always brings an aunt of mine to life as well. I do think certain scents really stay with a person…

  2. Smells are strong catalysts for memories – especially as they are usually a surprise.
Beautiful rhythm, too, in that first stanza!
