Kagura dance at night
the performer ‘s breath white
inside his mask
I choose to focus on the breath white. Go to Carpe Diem to read more
Mists on the Moutain by Shitao
dance in evening chill
the condensation of his breath
mingle with the mist

Now we see through a glass, darkly
this white mask/ of misty breath; in pick-a-boo unveils/ mountain peaks.
Very evocative. I like the idea of the personal (breath) and impersonal (mist) mingling.
Your words paint nice picture,,,even in the chill the warmth is very present. 🙂
Awesome connection with the mist!
In the mingling, you can’t tell one from the other. Or, the mist and the breath become one…

Nicely done Bjorn!
Mingling with mist captures the moment perfectly.
Very nice take on Kikaku’s haiku Bjorn and so close to his tone, sense and Spirit. Very spirtual and mysterious.
Yes ! You got it…thanks. ☺
Peace
