Carpe Diem Tan Rengu this week is to complete a haiku

after fireworks
the silence is clearer
darkness is deeper

this happens to be a haiku of my own, and I thought I’d do a renku completion. A little coarse and humorous instead..

the silence is clearer
darkness is deeper
but when he starts snoring
she light up a cigarette

  1. I am glad that you posted your own second stanza to your own first stanza Bjorn. Tan Renga is meant for two poets but it’s also a great way to learn.
