These are so good, Bjorn
Thank you 🙂
The second one is especially nice — what a wonderful thought.
Both lovely but am loving the nocturnal symphony!
I’ve heard those bull frogs and sometimes their symphony resembles cacophony! Still, your haiku delighted me!Welcome Summer
I adore finding Iris in its natural habitat – in the almost swampy/marshy areas. I remember the first time I saw it in the “wild” as I had only ever seen it in manicured gardens. It was like stumbling upon a secret, hiding behind its tall green leaves (I’m working on a poem about this flower for Poetry Jam right now) I love your reference to summer love… I know the bloom of this flower really is short lived – as often is summer love! (gotta love comments that are longer than a poem ha ha)
Simple, delicate and fragile haiku, just like the flower itself. The second is a classic and the first an interesting thought,,,maybe true…very nice
Love your haiku, the second is particularly poignant:) We have wild irises in the garden, but they are mostly white. They flower in April.
Wow! That first haiku is for sure my favorite, I like them both, but that first haiku is a gem. Thank you Bjorn for sharing.
I can imagine the soft music in the first…. and methinks the second is autobiographical?
both lovely but the bullfrog ‘ku is so strong in its haiku spirit.
These are lovely.
