Carpe Diem haiku – Kikusha-Ni’s “little spring”

Carpe Diem today is to write a haiku inspired by Kikusha-Ni (Tagama Kikusha Zennshu):

in the teabowl
this motion of the clouds
of “little spring”

I turned this a little bit toward summer instead.

glimpse of summer –
reflection in my tea
of rain clouds

  1. Should those rain clouds let loose, your tea would be watered down considerably—a weak, insipid brew! 🙂
