The next Tarot is wheel of fortune on Carpe Diem. Instead of the tarot interpretation I choose the wheels of life, sometimes called the wheels of fortune, and take the opportunity to show a medieval church painting from Sweden.

Wheel of fortune by Albertus Pictor in Härkeberga church
wheel turning
fortune comes and goes
a certain end
fortune wheel
a delicate balance
of hope and despair

your link is broken at dverse – did you mean to link this poem?
No, I wrote another,,, I had problems linking….
I posted a corrected link now… 🙂 well sometimes you do wrong.
Your first poem nailed this prompt! Bravo!Wheel of Fortune
Very contemplative haiku ~ and yet has clarity ~ well done!
Absolutely love the photo and your interpretation! (Oh, those poor guys on the wheel! Oh, that’s us!)
Are you doing a series of haiku on the Tarot? How fun. Nicely crafted.
The wheel is such an old and accurate symbol for the vicissitudes of life. One moment on the top–the next minute on the bottom. Excellent work!
Yes, I saw it had a dark side but stayed away from it since wanting to stay in a good place. I’ve been more on the dark place than the light. Hope that improves. Always love visiting you to see what you’ve done. That delicate balance is quite a trick!
and you found a delicate balance in your writing today
Cheers!
