Carpe Diem prompt today is bluebonnet. I have mixed feelings about them as they tend to take over everything, especially where they are not native. Anyway when I searched my favourite artwork page I found the following piece.

As you’ve read iñ todays post I didn’t know ‘blue bonnet’ -the flôwer and here I see a wonderful painting full of blue bonnets and I read a wonderful set of haiku. Thank you for sharing.
I knew it because I recall seeing it when I lived in the US. and then of course I know the lupin.
“prussian blue” is so very lovely. Both your haiku are beautiful. I just happen to love the second one!
I love prussian blue too…
I ove the first, so unexpected yet obvious when you point it out…just as it should be 🙂
The painting was a great help… 🙂
I was really drawn to the first one – beautiful in its simplicity, yet says so much.

The first haiku is so relaxing !!!
