Carpe Diem Special – Chèvrefeuille’s ‘lonely flower’

Today my task is to be write haiku inspired by Chèvrefeuille our host at Carpe Diem

lonely flower
my companion
for one night

My sincerest apologies to Kristjaan but it can be read as a one night stand 🙂 So here we go with another interpretation.

  1. perfect as always. i honestly thought of it as a one-night-stand too. lol and then thought of other interpretations ^^

  2. With apologies to Mae West….sometimes a flower is just a flower and sometimes it is something else entirely! Nice take on the prompt, Bjorn! 🙂

  3. Agree that both your haiku are so well done and poignant. I did not see the other meaning cuz of my rose colored glasses ;-O
