Carpe Diem Haiku – Higan (Spring equinox)

Today Carpe Diem prompt is Higan (Spring equinox). Here in Sweden it feels like far from spring, with new snow and a biting wind. I decided to go for hope and focus on the light.


equinox
dawning on us
light is here
~~
sunrise
soon will be to early
sleeping in
~~
dormant seed
waking up in daylight
