Carpe Diem Special – Onitsura (wild cherry)

Today in Carpe Diem the challenge is to write haiku based on the inspiration haiku from Onitsura

the wild cherry:
stones also are singing their songs
in the valley stream

And today I think it’s time to use Van Gogh’s Cherry Blossoms to illustrate my inspired haiku.

in the mountain stream

stones are playing games
with cherry bloom

  1. I love your playful haiku; magical. I think I misunderstood the prompt, but loved the imagery I found.

  2. Wow! Bjorn these haiku are really wonderful. I like the painting by Van Gogh and how that has inspired you to write your haiku for today’s Special by Onitsura. Chapeau, a real masterpiece.

  3. I love the images you created especially the dancing and singing! I had trouble with this for some reason but you stayed true to the master’s poem! 23:6
