Today the Carpe Diem Prompt is Saekaeru (returning cold), which got me thinking about cranes and how they contiune the spring rituals despite a returning cold. The woodblock below is a clear favorite.

Great!
the first is an emotional thought, and the second, after thinking, is very clever…! Nice – again…always…
Mades me smile. Thanks.
Perhaps your Cranes need to borrow your Elephant’s slippers?
Absolutely breathtaking, Bjorn.
Awesome! The cranes made me smile. 🙂
And oh what a gorgeous dance you have shown us! 🙂
your haiku are as graceful as your dancing cranes…lovely image choice as well….
Cold feet! Great idea! I remember flamingo getting frozen feet in the high regions of the Andes.
I’m with the cranes…cold feet when it comes to courtship/love/romance/all that stuff!
Cold Snap
And bringing those cold feet under the duvet brings death to romance.
I love the image of dancing cranes … very nice!
Cold’s Deception Lurks
Such a beauty… And not too much hope for eternal love with those cold feet… 🙂
