Aww this is gorgeous. I love that little squirrel, would love to see him munching away!
He comes every morning.. Hanging upside down to pick the seeds out of the bird feeder 🙂
Cute little guy. Not too cold with his fur coat.
That fur looks very nice
ooooohhhh…so cute…must have been such fun to watch him for a while… love me some so cute surprise breakfast guests..
I like the sounds..munching, shivering ~ Cute little squirrel, I agree 🙂
Haha! 🙂 Lovely! You only wait; at one time the shivering birds have had enough of it and launch an attack! This is how revolutions start! Hihi! 🙂
ha i might be shivering as well…wonder if they get used to it…i know they love the food we put out for them…squirrels are some of my fav animals…so playful…
What a wonderful photo here; and I enjoyed the poem you wrote about the shivering little guy. At least he won’t starve in the cold. How kind of you to feel the squirrels as you do.
a perfect description of the chill of winter and the need to eat…thank you
how beautiful! I love squirrels, although they are rare here 🙂 a perfect winter scene 🙂 well done, dear Bjorn 🙂
My mother-in-law has bird feeders in her garden – and a love/hate relationship with the squirrels that feed from them! I really enjoyed the image of the birds shivering as they wait for thier turn, impatient with the slow eater 🙂
aww cute guy…my husband feeds the squirrels peanut butter 🙂
Me… this morning…
We have a bird feeder and it’s a whole study in human nature to watch them compete for their turn. Nice moment.
The repetition used really brings this to life and it is so true – they are always hungry it seems!
Very kool, a love the furry creatures and your presentation of your expereince/observation.
Ha! I have his distant relative in my yard, raiding the feeder every day!! At least he gives the birds a turn eventually!
Watching a squirrel eat is one of the cutest things ever. I’m not really a cutesy kind of girl, but I’ll watch the squirrels sometimes. How can you not? 🙂
You need a few more bird feeders, to shorten the wait! lovely picture and poem.
there is competition at our seed dish between pigeons and parrots, then the sparrows. it is a lucky thing to be able to watch them.
Lovely Picture and the poem, poor birds having to wait and all 😀
Nice one 🙂
…indeed a lovely companion in a cold morning… i’d love to guest ’em in my li’l yard… smiles…
