In Visdare we should continue our stories from previous weeks. Last week’s contribution is here. This is my third installment.

Alaxander is in the familiar place, and listening he hears tha cat saying:
“Follow me”, with a voice that is strangely like Amanda’s.

He knows that he shall obey, and walking he feels the cold floor beneath his feet. The cat seems more eager than usually and turns and hisses for him to hurry.

The corridor as usually looks strangely like a subway carriage, devoid of people, but he know, were it will end.

Doors open by themselves.

He feels the cold draught.

When they enter the golden chamber lit by chandeliers he wakes up, and as usually he is in the silent basement. Sleepwalking, and Amanda is there again, sweeter than ever.

He hugs her tightly and says:

“Darling you are so cold, I am so sorry”

“Don’t” she answers, “everything’s fine now”

His pain is brief and short, and now he has joined his wife among the living dead
