Precisely
Imaginative– 3 part haiku! Love the ambiguity (for me) of the final third-I can see at least 2 interpretations.
Thank you.. yes both probably think the grass is greener on the other side…
Massive, strong protection but restricted freedom. Is there a choice? Nicely Bjorn!
Hank
Thank you Hank.
Kings are regular slipper-wearing people , perhaps, but we’ll never know for sure! 🙂
Of course they wear slippers 🙂
I like that stark contrast between “dream” and “prison.”
Castle Fence
Castles can be both
The three interpretations are apt !!!
Thank you 🙂
last haiku, very true, sometimes with privilege comes sacrifices.. i really like all 3 interpretations
Thank you, I liked this prompt.

the image of the king in his slippers, prowling thru the cold stone corridors – wonderful
Nicely done 🙂
Nice set of haiku! After reading the first one somehow the connection about kissing frogs until finding the real prince came in mind – probably it’s the same with princesses. 🙂
