Carpe Diem Haiku – Chiyo-Ni Special Morning Glory

Carpe Diem prompt today is a wonderful Haiku by Chiyo-Ni.

morning glory!
the well bucket-entangled,
I ask for water

And a woodblock of Morning Glory and kingfisher by Hiroshige Utagawara serves well to illustrate. I want to catch the essence of letting the beauty of nature be.

kingfisher
enjoy the morning glory
I take detour

bicycle and vine
save the morning glory
walking to work
~~
meadow bloom
tread carefully on path
for well water

  1. always good haiku here… if i must pick favorites, it’s the first one for me..probably the influence of your lovely photo ^^

  2. These definitely conjure images and feelings as I read them. Enjoyed them all. Will the bicycle ever be rescued?
