Carpe Diem Haiku – stork

Carpe Diem prompt is stork. And browsing for pictures I found this wonderful drawing by Albrecht Dürer. Storks are more or less extinct in Sweden, this has mainly been attributed to the conversion of wetlands to farm land. But the good news that the stork does not come with the babies.

  1. I love all3 but the third is excellent. When I first moved to our house in Brisbane, we had Green Tree Frogs sharing the house and grounds with us. We’d often find them in the shower.
Now the Cane toads have travelled down this way, the green tree frogs are rare.
