Carpe Diem prompt is stork. And browsing for pictures I found this wonderful drawing by Albrecht Dürer. Storks are more or less extinct in Sweden, this has mainly been attributed to the conversion of wetlands to farm land. But the good news that the stork does not come with the babies.

You tell a sad story.
And you tell it well.

I love all3 but the third is excellent. When I first moved to our house in Brisbane, we had Green Tree Frogs sharing the house and grounds with us. We’d often find them in the shower.
Now the Cane toads have travelled down this way, the green tree frogs are rare.
can storks eat the cane toads without ill effects? It may work out if they can – kill 2 frogs with one stork…
All three are cleverly crafted but the last one is a true gem.
Agreed, the last is testimony of tragedy of progress! Nicely Bjorn!

I happy to report that storks can eat many other ‘food’ items to survive…I wanna believe
These are beautiful. A nice variety. Love the first one most of all.
Nice set Bjorn. I love the first one.
What a powerful message… something about it is mesmerizing and yet a tad sad too. 😉
