Today I am writing my entry in Carpe Diem early. I have very limited knowledge about Buddha and Buddhism, but I make a try. I thought I’d pick an inkwash painting of bamboo, that look very zen-like to me. And I think you can meditate yourself to inner peace.
single bamboo leaf
watch it move in eastern breeze
Buddha talks to you
~~
bamboo by the pond
watch it change at daybreak
Buddha shows himself
~~
slender bamboo staff
pointing at the winter cloud
with your inner peace

I love your haiku. Very peaceful and lovely.
For me, Buddha has always been more of a head-knocker than a leaf-fluttering type.
bamboo in the sun
walking meditation right
then trip and fall flat
Alice, my dear, you are hilarious!!!:)
Thanks kz. Buddha a funny guy.
This really happened to me. Not so funny then. ;-(
Only funny later;-)
Many years later;-))

Bjorn. Thanks sweetie. Yours are so thoroughly haiku. Inspiring.

Beautiful … I love the way you wrote this !!!
Really nice -and clever juxtaposing Buddha to nature in this way. 2nd one really, really a moment of meditation.
Love how you have found the essence of Buddha in a feature of Nature! Beautiful!

Wow, these are so meditative , kind of took me down the Buddha path this morning especially the bit about the staff pointing the way to the winter cloud! I really enjoyed that(wasn’t that yesterday’s prompt?)
I, too, have only an overview knowledge of Buddhism…I don’t yet understand the myriad transformations…you have produced 2 zen-like haiku
Very nice series on Buddha Bjorn. I am caught by that second haiku. Such a strong spiritual haiku could have been written by a master … as you are my friend …
Namaste.
Thank you dear friend 🙂
I think you know more about Buddhism than you think.
Awesome set. You’ve captured the essence of Buddha in such a beautiful way 🙂 I loved them all.
Fresh approach to Buddha… I love it… 🙂 The peace not got me too. Eliz
