November’s last Carpe Diem prompt is first snow, and by coincidence the first snow came tonight. The picture below I took this morning before going to work. I always wonder if this is a beginning of a long winter, or if it will melt again.

What a wonderful “coincidence”!! The first one is my favorite … I like the use of the word “calligraphy”!!
First Snow
Awesome cascading haiku set Bjorn, very nice imagery you have painted here with your words … what a wonderful photo … Thank you for sharing on Carpe Diem.
We had our first dusting of snow….. Not really a good photo op, but there it was ! Like Becca, I like your use of the word “calligraphy” so fitting to the scene. My favorite is the memory evoking:
“under first snow
squirrel winter treasure
acorns from the oak”
This summer, I spent many hours with my client watching the squirrels hide their treasures for the winter.
