Today Carpe Diem prompt is silver birch.
The silver birch is a very characteristic for Sweden, and especially in spring they are beautiful with leaves in a delightful light green shade and flower mats of anemone nemorosa underneath. But looking through my pictures I decided to take another approach.

We have whole woods of just birch here in Sweden.
