This week 100 Words Challenge for Grown-ups was harder than I thought first. The text to use is …I really tried not to laugh …. So I guess that it had to be a funeral or a wedding… So let’s go for a wedding. Picture is from Wikimedia Commons.
It started when Sue started to giggle, apparently without reason. Soon Laura and Beth were laughing hard as well. I really tried not to laugh, but the a giggle escaped also my lips. Then the whole congregation was shrieking with laughter. Only the priest and the couple to be married looked bewildered.
Then they saw: Right above the groom there was a beautiful embossed sign saying:
“The end is near, Judgement day is coming”
Then all except the bride laughed.
So now you know why Steve said no to Lisa right at the altar.
