a song of beauty for a friend
come take my hand and walk with me
together we a message send
for all, a peaceful world we see

so take the closest hand you see
and hold it tight, compassion send
rejoice, ’cause now you’ve found a friend
and you can dance and follow me

we sing of us, forget what’s me
again, again we add a friend
so, hand in hand the leaders see
united people, love can send

alas a dream, they envy send
the hand you hold a husband see
and soon I stand alone, just me
whats now a foe, was once a friend

but keep your friend, the message send
for world to see, it’s you and me
