The warden – Visual dare 100 word fiction

This week’s Visual Dare entry. A prompt for writing a 100 words story. Pictures courtesy of the prompt. With such a nice selection of pictures I could not choose. So I used all three. Exactly 100 word.

Lady Anne’s marble skin gleamed in the pale moonlight as she awoke.

Strong urge drew her to leave her bed, run down the steep stairs, and into the woods outside the castle. For some reason she was without fear, as she run on bare feet through the soft moss.

As she saw him, the lonely warden, outside his cabin, she boldly stepped forward and said:

John I need you, now

Oh, my lady of course

As he approached her, his strong muscles shining in the moonlight, her black eyes ignited with a red sparkle of anticipation.

  1. Wow. Suspenseful, hints of coming passion – or dangers? – and I love how you staggered the story among the three photo prompts. 100 words on the nose and you hit all three prompts – great work!! Hope to see more from you in future Visual Dares. 🙂
