A dead tree is full of life
–
Home for bugs and worms
Food for woodpeckers
Who also call it home
It bringing up a family
For preying buzzards
The foxes and the deers
Can live in wood like this
But wood with only trees
All standing in straight rows
Rejected by the beasts
And Sensitive to pests
Dying trees are removed
Before they loose the value
Pulp for Sunday paper adds
Coupons that buys us more
Ending up in landfills
Where the woods once were
–
Why not save a dying tree?
