Melting ice does indeed give birth to to rivers and waterfalls, and ultimately to new growth. Good one.
Such a lovely haiku ~ I like the river birth in the summer sun ~
These images and your haiku are excellent. I can hear the rapids thundering.
Lovely haiku.. Birth of a brook rapids, amazing 🙂
Great take on the prompt! I love the pictures you paired with the haiku.
This one is especially vivid! It has your touch, clearly, but also feels–I am not quite sure if “traditional” is the right word, but close… venerable? not exactly. But … as though it sprung from the land itself, melted away, became part of the torrent….
Thank you, I had forgotten that one. 🙂
It is beginning to be that way for me also. I read sonnets I can not remember having written.
