Deep into the boggy marsh
The creatures of my nightmare
Cold and with a deadly breath
They are here to damage me
—
I should go home to safety
To my warm and cosy bed
Instead I’m heading deeper in
Where impeding doom await
—
My clothes are wet and soaked
A chill of death inside my heart
The monsters of the marsh
I carry with me till the end

Wonderfully written !!!
Thank you very much
You do indeed do spooky-whimsy very well!
Recently, someone asked me for something of a modern subject with modern terms and modern language. I may have gone a bit too far.

And it made me think of you, somehow. Because you are a physicist I am sure.
It is interesting to go back and reread what I wrote several months ago. I will check out yours 🙂
I have had more to do than usual, these last few weeks, so I have not progressed on my march though your site quite as quickly as I would have liked and will, no doubt, enjoy!
